The FmPro Layout Diff Main Window provides for the dropping
of Mac OS X clippings files, display of layout
images, printing and export of layout information.

Layout graphic: Layout Image
Dropping a FileMaker layout clippings file onto this graphic image causes
the FmPro Layout Diff to read the clippings file contents. Once the
contents of the clipping file have been read, the image of the layout
is put into this graphic and the list of fields is written into the
Info Window.
Button: Export Layout XML
Clicking on the Export Layout XML button, exports the XML info from
the clippings file for the layout. This info can then be processed externally
by other software if desired.
Button: Print Layout
Image
Clicking on the Print Layout Image button resizes the image of the layout
to fit on one page of paper, then prints the image on the currently
selected printer. The printer and page size can be specified by selecting
the Page Setup... menu.
Button: Clear Info
The Clear Info button clears the info for the specified layout. Dragging
another clippings file to the layout image box also has the effect of
clearing, then importing info from the clippings file.
Menu: Open Diff Window
This menu opens the Info/Diff Window if it is not already open.
Menu: Display Tips
The Tips Window is displayed with this menu selection.
Menu: Page Setup...
The current default printer is changed with this menu. This change only
affects FmPro Layout Diff, as the Mac OS X preferences is used to change
the default printer for all applications. This menu can also be used
to verify which printer is currently selected as the default printer
within FmPro Layout Diff.
